1st Tractor ride

Brody took his 1st tractor ride tonight. One of the neighbors was using it in his yard and thought we should take it for a ride.

We had our first trip to the pumpkin patch. He loved the hayrack ride but he wasnt too fond of the hay. We tried to get a picture of him on the hay but he doesnt like the way it feels on his skin. Overall it was a great day.
We also are giving you a preview of his halloween costume. Were teaching him how to roer like a lion and say trick or treat. He just keeps saying Boo...
Brody is doing so well, he is now able to say his name. He loves being outside and playing with other kids. He's finally starting to eat more and absolutely loves my spinach and onion keish.(who would think?) He is communicating more and getting cuter every day.

Vacation/Picnic/Ocean/Coloring Pics

Here are a few pics from our vacation to NY. The first two pictures are from Brody's first trip to Rhode Island to the beach. The next picture is of our friends Andy and Sara who adopted their son Kyle the same time as we adopted Brody. We spent one while we were in Albany at a reunion picnic for the adoption agency we used (Children at Heart). The last pictures is of Brody's first coloring session on his new easel. He ended up coloring himself, the driveway and the door entering the house. Luckily, they are washable....

July Pictures of Brody

Here are a few new pics of Brody. He is getting bigger every day. He came up to us this week and asked for a Ba Ba. It was the first time he was able to express what he wanted... Brody and Nanook are getting along great now. He has learned where the dog bones are and has gotten good at feeding them to the dog. The last picture is of Brody at Jared's house (the guy who built our house. We were there for his son's first b-day. We thought Brody needed a picture on his Harley.

First Trip to the Zoo

We took Brody to the zoo for the 1st time this weekend. It was a great time. A little hot, but a lot of fun.

2 New 1sts!!

Today Brody had a big day. He had his first ride on an amusement park ride. We went to this little festival being held in town. Brody took a ride on a miniature Amtrak train. I don't think he was overally impressed. He made it 2 laps and decided he wanted off. The comes out to $1 a lap.... After that we took him to the YMCA for his first swim. He was suppose to start swim lessons yesterday, but they were canceled because there was a parade and the road was closed. He really liked the pool. He splashed around and waved at the other kids.

We thought we would show a pic of Brody with his Easter Rabbit from Gram Fox. The other pic is of Brody with his new Sunglasses. The last pic is our freind Tiffany with Brody, Connor and baby Levi. The weather here today was less than great. We had about 1/4 inch of snow this morning. It got better as the day went on. Probably about 40 degrees today?? Brody didn't get to go outside and hunt easter eggs. Gram Jones did get some little plastic eggs for him to hunt. He still is saying just "Mom" and "Dad". We are working on "up" and "ball". As always solid foods are still a work in progress.

1st Birthday Party!!

Well Brody had his 1st birthday party today. He loved it. If you can't tell by the pics, it was a John Deer 1st b-day. He had a good time trying to eat his 1st cake. Grammy might have been a little disappointed. He wasn't that messy?? We had a great time and it was nice that everyone could come. Sorry that everyone in Albany wasn't a little closer to be here though... I'm sure we'll be making it back soon to see everyone.

Grammy Fox's B-day present

Gram Fox sent a ball pit for Brody's 1st B-day. We couldn't wait to give it to him, so we broke it out tonight. BIG hit!! Don't ask me what you are suppose to do with it to get it out the living room??

Daddy Thursday

Thursday's are Daddy day home with the baby. I like to put the kid in something besides sweat pants!! Anyway, here are the pics. We have a pretty exciting day ahead. We will be making the usual Walmart run, followed by Lowe's for curtains and then out to lunch with Gram. Enjoy.
