Well we got Brody this morning. He was definately a little worn out from the trip. He looks great, maybe a little smelly?? They even gave him a little hair cut before they came!! We tried feeding him yogurt off of the buffet this morning and also some warm cereal type stuff. He wasn't really that interested in either. We tried the formula this morning, no go.. We then tried it again this afternoon and warmed it under the faucet, then he liked it. We took him to the S.O.S. ( I don't know what it stands for) this morning. Everything went fine. He has a little bronchitis which they gave us antibiotics and nose drops for. He also had a little rash on his back?? We didn't see it this morning when we were washing him off. It might have just been a little heat rash. When we got back to the hotel to give him the antibiotics you needed to add water. The only problem is that we had no clue how much to add. Luckily the hotel has a doctor on staff who mixed it and told us it needs to be refrigerated, so I guess we will only use it while we are here. Other than that he seems to be doing great. We are know going to the clinic tomorrow to get the result of his tests. We drop them off to the US embassy Wednesday and return to meet with them on Thursday. Good thing we added an extra day in because we wouldn't have been able to leave on Thursday. Brody has progressed since we left. He pulls up to a stand now and can also kneel on both legs and hold the position. He has two new teeth on the bottow and two coming in on the top. He is knapping know. None of the babies really wanted to knap today. They are all excited to be out of the orphanage and getting so much attention. Lisa was finally able to get him to sleep, so I left the room to do the blog. Still no sign of our bags. I guess the facilitator is working on it... Luckily Andy and Sarah gave us both new shirt that say "coolkazdad" and "coolkazmom" so we can wear them around. You know how Lisa likes to match her clothes to mine when we are out??? Anyway, we washed the stuff we had last night, so it was dry this morning. Here are a few pictures of Brody.

AAHHH!! Congrats!! Can you guys believe it is finally happening. He is still adorable. You guys are probably on cloud nine right now. I just wanted to let you know that I have a fresh pair of undies on and it feels great. Maybe your bags will be at the airport when you leave. Wishfull thinking. Give Brody a kiss and a hug for me. Well off to work. Merry Christmas!!
Angela
Sorry Telly I didnt make it last night hope you made it without me. HAHA!! I am a little pissed that you didnt clean my driveway. I must have been in the wrong half of Quincy. Oh! Tige what are you wanting on the table when you get back??
Hi Tige, Lisa, and Brody,
So excited that you HAVE HIM now!!! He looks so happy. What an amazing Christmas gift. Babies beat underwear anyday, right? Santa came to our house last night ... just waiting for the kids to wake up now. :-))))
Love, Ronda & Paul ... Madalynn, Carter, Corbyn
Congrats,
Baby Brody looks so big! He is so adorable. We can't want to see him at the end of January. Don't worry about Brody being a little smelly, I'm sure you, with your same underwear and clothes didn't smell like a bed of roses either.
Good Luck on the trip home.
Christine
ps
The kids are so excited about santa coming, however Shaun is more excited about all his cousins coming over with presents for him. And I keep talking to Kira your present. I think that is such a great gift!!! I told her it was something that came all the way over on a plane from Russia.
I think $10 for a pair of underwear is ridiculous, but better ridiculous than crusty. ewwww. Course now you can always blame the stench on the kid. Your bags will probably be home before you are. So does it feel different?
Hi Guys...Merry Christmas. Its almost official....in 3 days he will be apart of the Jones/Fox family....god help him!! Brody has no idea what kind of wackiness his future holds. We are all very happy for the three of you. Its been a long journey! Just wait.... come January when you are all settled in, you'll realize how amazing the whole journey was! That is until Brody takes a crayon to Tige's favorite armoir (you know, the one Mark scratched in the move).
Well now we know what to get Tige for Christmas.....do you prefer bikini briefs or high cut panties? I cant recall.
Jenn, Jake and Evan are very excited to see Brody next month. I hope the next 3 days go smoothly w/ the embassy...but most importantly, I hope you dont get a case of the stomach krandie...gor help your chino's.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND CONGRATS!!!
Mike, Jenn, Jake and Evan
God help your chinos!!!
Congrats on finally being a family!! The girls loved Brody's Christmas card and can't wait to meet him!! $10 for underwear, it's worth it!! Mark could send you over some edible ones, he was dying to get them for someone at the gift exchange.
Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas together!! We missed the blog when you got home, you'll have to post more once in a while for us New Yorkers. Good luck and stay clean!!
Ps. Ever heard of going commando!! They say it's a 'cool' time!!
Hey guys! Brody looks so cute with his haircut! can't wait to meet him in person when you get back. best of luck with your bags, and also with the flights back, can't wait to hear the stories!! merry Christmas and have a safe trip. Oh, p.s.--my clean underwear feel pretty darn nice too :)
